At Atari, Inc., I was a member of the team that built the first computer and laserdisc interactive kiosks used in retail. I was the Production Manager for Atari's television commercials, one of them won a Clio award. I served as the Product Manager for the Atari 600XL and 800XL computers and led their successful product launch across Europe.
At ViMart Corp., I further developed and marketed interactive kiosks that substantially increased consumer software sales for Sears and K-Mart stores nationwide. As Director of Marketing, at Aapps Corp., I was the first to market digital video capture and display products for the Macintosh, before Apple’s QuickTime technology existed.
I was recruited by Apple Computer in 1990 to be the Evangelist responsible for QuickTime and Firewire technologies. During my tenure at Apple, I was instrumental in the creation of many key strategic partnerships, as well as enlisting over 100 companies worldwide to develop QuickTime and Firewire based products. As Advanced Technology Evangelist, I was a key member of the team that managed the development and marketing of the successful 660 & 840 AV Macs.
In 1993 I founded Merlin Media, Inc., a successful Silicon Valley agency pioneering multimedia and creating web solutions for Fortune 500 companies as well as dot.com start-ups. My team designed and built a 30-station computer and interactive laserdisc system for Apple that ran for 2 years in their pavilion at Disney World's EPCOT Center. In 1995 I authored a book, Desktop Video Studio, published by Random House Electronic Publishing, and was honored by AV Video Multimedia Producer magazine as a Top 100 digital video producer.
In 2005 I merged my company with Interact Communications, Inc. As CTO and VP of Web Services I served dozens of community and technical colleges, providing market research, communication services, and Internet/web solutions.
Since founding my own company, I have built and managed hundreds of corporate and higher education websites, as well as creating dozens of multimedia CD/DVD products.
I was recruited by OmniUpdate in 2008 to build out a department of award winning professional services, training, and support professionals. As Vice President of Customer Success, along with my team of 30, we were responsible for the success of the company's over 700 college and university customer web sites.
At Verimatrix, Inc. I was their Director, Global Technical Support. Verimatrix specializes in securing and enhancing revenue for multi-screen digital TV services around the globe. I managed, trained, mentored, and enhanced the global support teams (Americas, EMEA, APAC) who serve Verimatrix's customers worldwide resulting in four Stevie Awards for Excellence in Customer Service in 2020 (99%+ CSAT scores over the past 12 months).
